A fix release for a single problem on older versions of macOS. Nothing about how you work changes.
Archyv could open to only the Help window, with no way into the app
On macOS Sonoma (14) and Sequoia (15), Archyv could start up showing just its Help window — no main workspace and no obvious way forward. It happened after the app was closed by anything other than quitting it normally: a force quit, a crash, or simply restarting your Mac with “Reopen windows when logging back in” switched on. The app was actually still fine; its main window had been sent to a separate full-screen Space you were never shown, leaving only Help in view.
Fixed. Archyv now stops macOS from reopening its helper windows on their own at launch, so it always comes up on the main workspace.
If this has been happening to you, installing this update is all it takes — the first launch clears the stuck state on its own.
